Dear Devotee,
As the New Year approaches, major pilgrimage centres across India are witnessing an unprecedented influx of devotees. Temple administrations have announced special arrangements and restrictions to ensure crowd safety and smooth darshan. Please take note of the following important updates before planning your visit:
🕉️ Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Varanasi
VIP and all special darshan facilities suspended until further notice.
Decision taken on December 24 due to lakhs of devotees arriving daily.
Only regular jhanki darshan will be permitted for all devotees.
Enhanced crowd-control measures, including zig-zag queue systems, have been implemented.
The suspension will be reviewed after New Year’s Day once footfall decreases.
🚩 Shri Ram Mandir, Ayodhya
December 31, 2024, marks the second anniversary of the consecration of Ram Lalla idols.
Massive footfall expected; Ayodhya hotels are nearly sold out for the New Year period.
Darshan timings have been extended to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims.
Special religious programmes and celebrations will be held to mark the anniversary.
Devotees are advised to plan travel and accommodation well in advance.
🔱 Mahakal Temple, Ujjain
Special New Year darshan arrangements have been implemented.
Online booking for Bhasma Aarti suspended from December 25 to January 5 due to crowd pressure.
During this period, only offline permissions will be granted.
No offline permission on January 1, however, devotees can attend chalit (moving) Bhasma Aarti darshan.
Separate entry and exit gates have been designated, along with organized parking facilities.
Security and crowd management protocols have been strengthened for devotee safety.
🙏 Advisory for Devotees
Follow temple guidelines and cooperate with security personnel.
Arrive well in advance and be prepared for longer waiting times.
Avoid VIP or special darshan expectations during peak New Year days.
Stay updated through official temple announcements.
These measures are being taken to ensure a safe, orderly, and spiritually fulfilling darshan experience for all devotees during the New Year celebrations.
We wish you a blessed, peaceful, and spiritually uplifting New Year.
Jai Shri Ram | Har Har Mahadev | Jai Mahakal
