DharmikVibes, December 31, 2024 – The iconic Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a symbol of faith for millions, is progressing toward completion under the guidance of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee chaired by Nripendra Mishra. Initially targeted for June 2025, the completion timeline has been revised to September 2025 due to unforeseen challenges.
The temple's sanctum sanctorum was consecrated earlier this year in a grand ceremony on January 22, 2024, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing Vedic rituals. Since then, construction efforts have been focused on completing the remaining sections of the complex, including a 1-kilometer rampart featuring six smaller temples dedicated to revered Hindu saints and a serene pond named 'Pushkari.'
Key developments include:
Rampart Construction: Scheduled for completion by June 2025, the rampart will enhance the grandeur of the temple complex.
Murals and Artistry: Of the planned 85 murals, 21 have already been completed, showcasing intricate designs that narrate episodes from Hindu scriptures.
Innovative Design: Titanium lattices are being crafted for the Parikrama on the ground, first, and second floors, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
Worker Shortage Addressed: Efforts are underway to overcome challenges, including the hiring of additional workers and replacement of certain stones on the temple’s first floor.
The committee remains committed to meeting the revised timeline, ensuring that the temple is completed with the highest standards of devotion and craftsmanship. The Ram Mandir, once completed, is expected to become a major spiritual and cultural hub, attracting devotees and tourists from across the globe.
The project stands as a testament to India's rich heritage and the collective efforts of those dedicated to realizing this historic vision.
